Class 3, we have been exploring Time. We started by tracking the movement of the sun and even made our own sundials. We quickly found correlations between compasses and clocks.

We have discovered that time is so much more than numbers. It is reflected in the seasons, the weather and even our sunflowers that we planted at the end of last year. The sunflowers started as seeds in December and now they are tall and the flowers are blossoming.

We have learnt that time can be seen in a myriad of ways. In a few weeks our chicks will be old enough to move into their lovely clean enclosure that we are preparing for them, and we will have time to journey together and watch them grow.
