David Spiers MP Visit to SPS 2022

On Friday 19th August, David Speirs visited Sheidow Park school. He was met by the 4 students in Trish Gilbert’s class, Max, Kara-Raine, Riley and Taya who visited him earlier in the term to ask about the possibility of another flag pole.
The students were great advocates and took Mr Speirs on a tour of our school and discussed where he was at in obtaining another flagpole. He informed the students that from his end this was still in the research stages and that he will update us as soon as possible.
Myself and Naomi Ford (governing council representative) were also with this group and again, mentioned that we would like his support in obtaining capital works funding to improve the building and facilities at Sheidow Park School.
