Room 14 Learning Mathematics

 Learning mathematics in
Room 14 this term is all about number sense, shapes and patterns.
We make patterns with reels and buttons and blocks and beads.
We sort and classify shapes and other objects like the small animal sets.
We are learning about patterns in numbers.
We are learning about making equal groups (a beginning concept for division) with the unifix cubes. We had to share 12 blocks into two equal groups, then three equal groups, then four equal groups. We are learning what equal means.
